So if you are a foodie or you are new to Lagos Nigeria or an I Just got back (IJGB), and will like to have a taste of local delicacies in a fine restaurant, before you head down East, then The Junction located on 23 Adebayo Doherty Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, Nigeria is where you should visit.
The Junction Lekki has an interesting and simple menu, simple in the sense that the food and its description on the menu book is very easy to understand, which makes selecting what you want to eat very easy. With a food menu that contains mostly delicacies popular with the eastern part of Nigeria, yet any food lover who is looking to try out new delicacies, will jump on it, as the menu is rich in its local form.
The customer service is top notch; smart, decent looking girls and boys at the top of their game, food preparation and service is timely, the ambiance is neat and cozy, the portion of food served ranges from moderate to big, the food is tasty and delicious. Guess what? There are delicacies on the menu ranging from 1500 naira and above. I have had an all girls hangout with my friends at the Junction Lekki, I have hung out alone and I can say it is a perfect spot for small get together and small parties, as the place is decorated with wooden aesthetics, wall frames and plants.
Well I have not had a bad experience there before, it is one of my favourite spot to wait out the traffic from the island to the mainland, because they mark the pricing, neat environment with beautiful plants, good tasting food and customer service check boxes for me. Except that I recently recommended the Junction Lekki to a friend who just got back, we both went and when we tasted the Nkwobi which sold for 3,500 naira, the meat was soft and well spiced except for the sauce which we taught was salty. We complained to the lady who served us and she had this to say "But you have finished the meat" "the people in the kitchen said it isn't salty, it was just well spiced" 😱 my friend was shocked and he said Uju I thought this was you fave wait out spot, I responded with ; The lady who served us is new to this place I guess"
Considering the fact that the business owner is mostly on standby to ask for customer feedbacks, which I find very interesting, it is important to also give staff training on how to respond to a feedback.
Will I still patronize the Junction Lekki? YES! That was my fifth time, Will my friend still do? Well I am yet to find out, because he totally liked the ambiance, which he thought as cozy and classy, until the waitress came with her response to our feedback.
As a consumer, how important is customer service to you?
The Junction also offers home delivery services and you can find them on Instagram as @thejunction_lekki.
