The #NITC16 took place on the 17th of September 2016, Organized by Natural Nigerian, Carib Health, Ms Isioma and The Kink and I at NEO cafe Agoro Odiyan Victoria Island Lagos Nigeria. Its a late post, because I lost some of my note and picture file due to faulty gadget, but really I must share what I have, as the next one will be coming up in December 2016.
So here is all you missed and what went down at the event. NITC16 had 5 interesting segments for the day,

On my way to #NITC16

The 1st Segment was a Makeup class by Whitney Madueke ,and a Yoga session to relax the mind by Nsa Etuk, so it was up to the participants to choose which of these two sessions they wanted to attend, as both went on simultaneously.
Whitney Madueke on the beat!

The 2nd segment had Mrs Nwosu, a Retired Matron with over 30 years of experience at Federal Medical center, she gave us a deep and detailed lecture on harnessing the power of herbs for healthy living, she laid emphasis on some causes of Cancer, how junk shouldnt be taken except on very rear occasions when we are far from healthy foods, how Lime isn't good for young women who are yet to give birth,  how green vegetables contains chlorophyll and antioxidants which helps fight Cancer, how rotten nuts and fruits can cause cancer and the importance of monthly check ups at health centers, She futher more educated us on the health benefits of various herbs at her stand.

The 3rd Segment had NSA the Yoga queen give us lots of insight into mindful living, her session was peaceful! She talked about mindfulness in relationship, eating to keep fit and general living, She explained with so much grace and gave us peaceful mind exercise, just before the 4th segment, NSA took a few of us in a 45 minutes yoga excercise session! It was about the most peaceful time of my life, it got to my mind, nerves, body and muscles and To think I almost signed up for a kick boxing class so that I can whoop asses, I just found a more peaceful way to resolve issues in Yoga! If you are interested in her session, drop a comment and I will relate it to her.
Can you spot me?
Namaste!

The 4th Segment was by @YellowSisi, a natural hair stylist and hair enthusiast, she lectured us on the importance of protective styling, use wigs, African threading and many more on loving and caring for our hair.

The 5th Segment was my 2nd best after the Yoga, it was by Dr Patrick Ijewere, it was so informative and insightful! he talked about GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms), its adverse effect and toxic contamination to our health / the environment, GMOs are harmful, artificial seeds the government and Monsanto's have pushed into the country. He advised on buying and planting natural and organic seeds from farmers and owning our own garden, so as to boycott GMOs, he also talked about the importance of detoxifying of our body system and using social media to kick against GMOs, *this will be a hot Monday Random Topic on the blog, as soon as I am done with my research. For more information, search for Genetic Roulette via Google.

STYLE CRUSH- IRO N BUBA BY ONYI ANAX

Nobody can rock Iro n Buba more than my style crush for this week. Good day lovelies. Iro n Buba popularly known as Iro ati’ Buba in Yoruba, originated from the yorubas in Nigeria West Africa and was adopted by many tribes in Nigeria, it was popularly worn by our mothers, but our generation who knows how to revamp fashion has brought back the trend- OLEKU (the short and trendy version of Iro n Buba) and we are giving our grannies a run for their fashion style. Onyi Anax is my style crush for this week; she is an experienced fashion designer in the heart land of lagos
