Who made you the Judge? Were you at the event? ok who gave you an invite? Are you a trained stylist or a seasoned Fashion designer? Ok yes! the only tool you have is your smartphone for Social media bullying right? Should everybody really have an opinion? As much as I critique things that aint right, I do it constructively!
So the 2016 African Magic Viewers Choice Awards took place on the 5th of March 2016, at Eko hotels Victoria Island Lagos Nigeria.
I didn't get an invite, but I watched it, It streamed live on Africa Magic channel 154 DSTV. All I can say is that Africa is Evolving, but Nigeria is at the forefront. Truely Africa have come of age! The AMVCA is our Oscar, the fact that most of these celebrities wear and mention most of our African fashion designers on the red carpet is top notch for me. Most celebrities came under fire for their outfits, I really didn't see the need for people to be heavily critiqued because they chose made in Nigeria designers, or was it because it didn't fit or was it not the right outfit for such event? I really didn't like some outfits, but I just discussed it with my friends and didn't call out anyone on social media.
All I saw at the 2016 AMVCA event was Style, Entertainment and Talent being rewarded.
Here are the few outfits I saw that wowed me:
The Dapper Dudes
The Stylish Ladies
