STYLE- CULLED FROM SUNDAY, AN URBAN TOUCH TO MY MOTHER'S DAY OUTFIT.

Good day peeps, its been a while since I did a style post, but not to worry I have been working on the blog to serve you better. On today's style post, due to popular demand, I have received a lot of positive comment and questions on my social media handles asking me about the outfit I wore last Sunday, so I decided to talk about it on the blog.

So, last Sunday, was mother's day and I decided to dress like a Mum, because I hope to
become one soon. I decided to pair my burgundy suede wrapper with a wrap shirt like top, I tied my scarf like a turban(watch this space for for how to tye a turban), I paired this look with a burgundy purse, a gold shoe and gold accessories.

The questions I got about this outfit were: Is it a skirt or a wrapper? Is this a scarf or a turban? So to clear your doubts, this is the outfit descriptiondescription
  • Suede Burgundy material from Lagos Island market ( Lagos Nigeria)
  • Black wrap shirt from online store MRP
  • Purse from clover collections
  • Accessories from Lagos island.
So its not a skirt, its a wrapper and a scarf tyed as a turban.

So how do I look? I would make a pretty mum abi? Would you rock this outfit? Instead of combining the wrapper with a lace just as most ladies and women would do, I decided to add an Urban touch to my traditional outfit.

STYLE CRUSH- IRO N BUBA BY ONYI ANAX

Nobody can rock Iro n Buba more than my style crush for this week. Good day lovelies. Iro n Buba popularly known as Iro ati’ Buba in Yoruba, originated from the yorubas in Nigeria West Africa and was adopted by many tribes in Nigeria, it was popularly worn by our mothers, but our generation who knows how to revamp fashion has brought back the trend- OLEKU (the short and trendy version of Iro n Buba) and we are giving our grannies a run for their fashion style. Onyi Anax is my style crush for this week; she is an experienced fashion designer in the heart land of lagos
