MONDAY RANDOM- 8 TIPS TO RUN A HOME BASED BUSINESS AS A WOMAN.

Happy Mother's day to all the successful women and mum, who have done so well in bringing up good children, running successful businesses, taking care of their men and impacting the world positively. Last week was Women's Day and this week is Mothers day. Mother's day celebration always feels so fesitive to me, from all the presentations by kids to the women, rendations and presentations by women to the congregation at my place of worship, then finally back home to a sumptuous meal by my sweet mother.
My Mum has always thought me how to be successful, through acquiring an education, skills and how to be a proverb 31 verse 10-31 kind of woman, the trainings are hard and sometimes annoying, but it is paying off now, in the long run can we all appreciate .I have been inspired by the way she multitask from office to business, then school, taking care of her husband, kids and relatives #supermom , I can tell most women are familiar with this. As a media lover that I am, I take out time to surf , research and learn from entrepreneurs who really inspire me, from that I have come to realize that a lot of successful businesses started from home.
So if you are a young graduate wating for an office job, or a pregnant young mother,Here are tips to run a home based multiple streams of income as a woman:

  • Get an education- no matter how basic, get an education, it serves as a foundation for any form of business. You have to be literate enough to communicate and at least count money.
  • Get a Laptop or a smart phone with internet connection- No its not a yahoo yahoo business, you need the gadget to research, network and communicate with your potential clients, depending on the kind of decent business you are into.
  • Figure out what kind of business would be lucrative for you- You can venture into buying and selling or online services such as teaching online, managing social media for people online, writing for people and so on.
  • Acquire a skill- I am an advocate for skill acquisition. A skill in Tailoring, Graphics design, writing , public speaking and so on. Search your self to figure out what you have a passion for, that would help you know what kind of skill to acquire.
  • Get a space at home- why spend money on an office space, while you can maximize profit by making use of that empty space at home? You need that space not only to save cost, but to also have a quite time.
  • Get familiar with at least a social media networking site- Leverage on online marketing space such as Gtbank SME hub, Facebook and Instagram to advertise your products and services. This way, you can get clients from around the globe.
  • Develop a good customer care attitude- Always thank and celebrate your customers, let every relationship be on work terms. Be professional
  • Attend Seminars- in your spare time, register and attend helpful seminars, its an eye opener and a practical way to earning. Most importantly, read or learn another language.
If you have something you feel might be a useful tip, please feel free to add your suggestions on the comment section. This post might be long, but its surely useful. Watch out for my Vlog post on "List Of Businesses to do from home"
In the other news, watch this space for the outfit I wore on this year's mother's day celebration.

Nobody can rock Iro n Buba more than my style crush for this week. Good day lovelies. Iro n Buba popularly known as Iro ati’ Buba in Yoruba, originated from the yorubas in Nigeria West Africa and was adopted by many tribes in Nigeria, it was popularly worn by our mothers, but our generation who knows how to revamp fashion has brought back the trend- OLEKU (the short and trendy version of Iro n Buba) and we are giving our grannies a run for their fashion style. Onyi Anax is my style crush for this week; she is an experienced fashion designer in the heart land of lagos
