STYLE INSPIRATION – DENIM ON DENIM AND RIPPED

Denim is one fabric that can never go out of style, there's this revolving essence attached to it that appeals to every generation, it reminds me of the 90's especially in western music videos, when artists like the group “boys II men, usher, to mention a few rocked the Denim. Over time, denim has evolved to represent a fashion niche in the industry. I call it my comfy, because it can pass for any occasion from work, to events then relaxation, depending on the mood or style.

The denim and boots was a typical workshop outfit back then, but recycled and worn stylishly now, u can style your denim with nice pair of shoes, any fabric, accessories and good make up.

The very interesting thing about the denim to me is that it’s a recycle process that has come to stay, a casual yet stylish outfit, the denim can be worn with any fabric or styled as desired. I was going through a website and I was wowed by a fashion blogger www.awedbymonica , she inspired this very post of mine, I had no other choice than to accept the return of denim jacket and ripped denim pants.

STYLE CRUSH- IRO N BUBA BY ONYI ANAX

Nobody can rock Iro n Buba more than my style crush for this week. Good day lovelies. Iro n Buba popularly known as Iro ati’ Buba in Yoruba, originated from the yorubas in Nigeria West Africa and was adopted by many tribes in Nigeria, it was popularly worn by our mothers, but our generation who knows how to revamp fashion has brought back the trend- OLEKU (the short and trendy version of Iro n Buba) and we are giving our grannies a run for their fashion style. Onyi Anax is my style crush for this week; she is an experienced fashion designer in the heart land of lagos
