Sustainable Development Goals, are aimed at championing policies for the stable sustenance of the Earth and Mankind, with that being said, I am super glad to be a team member of the multiple award winning youth led organization committed to ensuring that people especially women and children have ongoing access to Clean Water, Sanitation and Hygiene; Aimcare NG, hosted the first ever Walk for Water event in Akwa Ibom and the biggest in South South/ south east Nigeria.

The walk was to mark the 2018 World Water Day, to raise awareness on the Water poverty around the world, the need for people to preserve water and on the need to find solutions to water problems from Nature.

Speaking at the event , Mmekidmfon Umanah Founder and CEO of Aimcare NG argued that "many of us haven't really been thirsty, we've not had to miles to get water - or atleast not anymore- we just put on the tap and water comes out. CLEAN!
However, United Nations estimates that about 884million do not have access to clean water around the world.
Can you imagine spending 8 hours a day simply getting something to drink?"

He went further to assert that Access to Water is access to education, access to work, access-above all- to the kind of future we want for our own families. Clean water provides improved lives for women , better health and economic growth for a community.

The event had in attendance the Special Adviser Bureau of Water Resources and Political Affairs, the Permanent Secretary of the Bureau, the M.D. Akwa Ibom Water Company, the G.M. Akwa Ibom Rural Water and Sanitation Agency, the Chairman Akwa Ibom Borehole Drillers Association, our international partners (WaterEase, U.K. and Hope Spring Water, U.K.) Silverbird TV, Planet FM and so on.

Happy New Month dearies, it is the month of February already! I use to think January is the slowest month in the year, but January just went by so fast. I can say this is the fastest January I have seen so far.

So I had a strategy meeting with the founder of Styled by Beeh and we chose a beautiful and serene location for this meeting; THE TEA ROOM LAGOS.

Hi lovelies, it feels good to be back. I have been away for a little too long in the east, Anambra State Nigeria precisely for my late grandma's burial. I was so busy that i couldn't blog, but am back, so watch this SPACE  for sights and sounds from the east

Happy New Month! Welcome to the "ember" quarter of the year. So I am starting a Fashion DIY channel, I will always find a way to link it here on the blog, so watch out! Today, I will be showing a practical demonstration on how I transformed my bronze hoop earring, using African print "Ankara" I have had this bronze earring for 5 years now, it started wearing off, then I tot to myself why discard it? Just transform it! So I got some pieces left from the Ankara material I made a dress from, and Viola a new earring was born! THINGS YOU NEED:
Ankara fabric (Quite Small to go round your earring or pieces from your tailors shop) make sure to select the pieces with lovely, regular pattern.A hoop earringUhu gum (a garment friendly adhesive)Scissors

Cut through the fabric vertically, long enough to go round the earring, Cut the tip of the already cutout vertical fabric into an inverted triangle shape, this is to make it tip smaller and easier to start wrapping at the beg…
