RECIPE - DIY 3 FRUITS SMOOTHIE

Hi everyone, hope you all spent your weekend well. My weekend was splendid and am still basking in all the fun and excitement. I am feeling so fresh, healthy and exited because I have resorted to living healthy and natural. From growing my hair natural to workout exercises and now adding veggies and fruits to my diets.

So I have been trying out different smoothie recipes, and I have been enjoying it. Thinking what a smoothie is? Smoothies are fruits and vegetables blended together to get a very nutritious paste like drink. You can add Natural flavors such as vanilla syrup, yogurt, soy milk, honey, whole milk and Toppings such as Nuts (almond nuts, cashew nuts, peanuts). Smoothies are very healthy, nutritious, it’s also a great way to add to your diets all those veggies you can’t eat but they are very essential to your health, just blend them in a blender or fruit mixer, then drink it. Most of these smoothies are served at workout places such as the Gym, at a high cost, why not try it at home, as its affordable.

On Sunday I made a 3 fruit smoothie and served it over launch to my friends, so I thought to share my smoothie recipe with you my awesome readers. All you need is the fruits you want to mix, ice cubes and a blender or fruit mixer. I love to use the blender because it makes my smoothie thick, it aids easy absorption, nothing goes to waste, all the fibers in the fruits are retained, its not sticky, blending is also a great way to eat my vegetables.

My 3 fruit Smoothie Recipe:

1. ½ of a whole Watermelon

2. ½ of a whole Pineapple

3. 4 Apples

4. Soy milk

These quantities are dependent on the quantity you want.

Cut your fruits in small chunks, remove the seeds

Put them in a blender, add soy milk for easy blending.
Served with ice cubes and ready to drink. you can refrigerate it.

 Lunch is served.
Best served Chilled and fresh.

OTHER SMOOTHIE RECIPES I HAVE TRIED.
Banana- Strawberry Smoothie- Blend your banana, strawberries, cinnamon and vanilla yogurt.
Cucumber- Avocado Smoothie- Blend Cucumber, Avocado( remove the seed), lettuce and peeled lemon.
Peanut Butter-Apple Smoothie- Blend Apple, peanut butter, soymilk and honey to taste

There are Smoothies for weight loss, fresh skin, breakfast beverage and more. These fruits and veggies are very affordable. A cup of smoothie once a week is healthy. Try these Recipes at home and thank me later.

Nobody can rock Iro n Buba more than my style crush for this week. Good day lovelies. Iro n Buba popularly known as Iro ati’ Buba in Yoruba, originated from the yorubas in Nigeria West Africa and was adopted by many tribes in Nigeria, it was popularly worn by our mothers, but our generation who knows how to revamp fashion has brought back the trend- OLEKU (the short and trendy version of Iro n Buba) and we are giving our grannies a run for their fashion style. Onyi Anax is my style crush for this week; she is an experienced fashion designer in the heart land of lagos
