PRODUCT REVIEW - MY FIVE FAVE THINGS

My Five Fave Things
So I recently just discovered some products that makes me pop during the day for a few weeks now, so I decided to share. The five favorite things I am loving now are in no particular other;

PURE BLISS BISCUITS
Some people strongly advise that one becareful when buying things in Lagos traffic, but you see this pure bliss biscuit, I have bought it in Lagos traffic and I have had no regrets. When I see these boys hawk it in traffic, my eyes pop and my throat leaps for joy. The Creamy rich biscuit sells has two flavors, the Vanilla and the Chocolate. I have come to love the chocolate flavor, because it is filling, the vanilla flavor is just too sweet and can make me spend all my money *covers face*  Pure Bliss biscuit sells for a 100naira, it contains 8 pieces in a pack and it is manufactured by OK foods. It can pass for breakfast when taken with coffee or tea.

FLAT SANDAL
Yes its just a flat sandal with no label, but the carton colour and the simplicity of the sandal attracted me to it. I got this Simple yet chic looking sandal that has a gold rim just around the sole, from Lagos island market, on one of my trips to buy fabrics.
It comes in different colors and I bought it for 1500naira only, I have been rocking and replacing my flat shoes with this sandal, especially if I want to show off my toe nails. Buzz me in the comment section if you want it.

SLEEK MATTE ME LIPSTAIN
This lipstain from Sleek is so classy and mature, a former colleague gave it to me as a birthday gift and I haven't tried to rock it since February, because I am a red, burgundy and nude lipstick kinda girl, till I had a meeting to attend at Promasidor, I just decided to try it on and a potential  client who I went to pitch my PR / Strategy skills to for her business, just kept on reading my lips and offered me a one month trial period, as she said that lip color is classy! The lipstain is subtle yet matte and stays all day, I dont know if you can get this in Nigeria, cause it came in for her from the UK.

SACRED EYE LASHES
I have been saving this lashes in anticipation of my big day, but as Mr right is still yet to find me, I decided to try it on for a photoshoot I had some months back for a fashion brand called Rose Jane, and my eyes was the talk of the shoot, as I looked like a barbie doll. It is so light and reusable, it was a gift from Lola Maja's Sacred beauty.

ARTIFICIAL NAILS
These nails are a life saver! I recently had an impromtu pitch session and I had spent the better part of my evening in Lagos traffic the previous day, that all the saloons had closed before I finally got home, I use to over look my sister's expertise in nail fixing, you know that saying " a prophet isnt recognized in his own home" *covers face* My younger sister is a nail expert, I got home and complained and she said will you let me do your nails??? I jumped and said yes, shame didn't let me ask, so the sweetheart fixed my nails within 10mins! She charged me 500naira. She said she bought the nails for 200naira and late night work manship is 300naira. Nawa! No family in business.

FEATURED - HANDMAID IN AFRICA:ANKARA CRAFT

I like to celebrate people who inspire others; I like to celebrate Africa, I like to celebrate young entrepreneurs like myself. The last time I was at the 2013 July edition of the LPM, I met an interesting young woman who fascinated me with her works by breaking away from the norm and doing something different. It’s the CEO Hand Maid in Africa, let’s meet her. Nene Aderohunmu is a young woman who is into stationeries such as pencil cups, books, sticky pads, diary, and household decorative like wall frames, picture frames, and jewelry box all made with Ankara and hand crafted by her. ETHNIQUE:  How and when did you start?
