EVENT - ALL THAT WENT DOWN AT THE #LMUF5 IN FEW WORDS AND MORE PICTURES.

It was a weekend of Fun,Discount Shopping, Sales, Networking, Giveaways and more as the popular, Biggest, Makeup sales and exhibition event took place on the 18th and 19th of June 2016 at the Classique Event center Oregun, Ikeja Lagos Nigeria.
The stage was set and yes! I and Adeoye took charge, we both anchored the event, thanks to the organizers (POPS CONCEPT). For the first time in the makeup fair, which keeps getting better from introducing the Runway, now they had two MAJOR FAIRS in one hall - "THE LAGOS MAKEUP FAIR and the INDI BEAUTY AND WELLNESS FAIR. Indi stands for Independently owned and Indigenous beauty brands, these brands consisted of the natural hand made, skincare and haircare products in Africa! certified, tested and trusted, truly Africa have come of age! There were over 41 Beauty, Makeup and Wellness Brand in total.

Most Interestingly at the event was the debate between Indigenous makeup brands (Team Nigeria) and International Makeup brands (Team Abroad). This debate saw  Ngozi Eeka Atta of Jaga beauty and Kunbi fashakin of Sit pretty Beauty were the team Nigeria supporters and  Ngozi Oni of Beauty and The Beholder and Teju Nwafor of Brushstrokes were on the team International side. 
The Panel of Judges were Funke Tonye of  Giftys daughter and Yemisi Dada of Nsure Beauty , While Matilda was the moderator. Both Teams had valid points and deciding a winner was difficult.

POINT FOR TEAM NIGERIA: "Indigenous brands will bring lots of employment and there won't be devaluation of Naira. Indigenous brands are specially made for people of colour"

POINT FOR TEAM INTERNATIONAL: Lots of research have been invested and international products are safe, tested and trusted. There is no regulatory body to test made in Nigeria products as Indigenous brands don't spend money or take time to do research.
Valid points, but for me as a foodie, my hosting / MC job led me to the food stand, Yummy!I got chops for free. I also got lots of Beauty products and I will gladly be hosting lots of giveaways here on the blog, so keep reading and commenting.
