STYLE - OOTD : POLO AND SKIRT X THE GOOD HAIR

Oh yes! Good hair and I care! What were you thinking? Becky? Did you even get the joke? Are you wondering Why the title of this post? Here is why, If you stay in Lagos Nigeria, you can attest to the Scorching Sun which causes terrible heat. We all know how difficult it is to maintain our weaves, braids, extensions and even our natural hair in a very hot weather condition. The heat can make one sweat and accumulate dirt which makes the hair smell. I also watched Yagazie's youtube video on good hair HERE hence it also inspired the title.

I have been wearing my natural hair in a protective "all back weave" I can pour water on my head and cool breeze will get to my scalp, loosen it and plait it in an all back Protective style again, the "all back" protective hair style makes me look like a Highschool girl, but who cares? I can't come and have hair odour . Until I got a perfect Wig! which is one of my fave things now, It fits my head and my face, so I call it the good hair, I bought it from a mall in surulere and the texture is so right. So I decided to rock it with  this simple outfit: a Polo top, and Blue pencil skirt for a casual meeting.
This Blue pencil Skirt, hugs me so well at the right place *winks*

With my fashion fetish (Sunshades)

What was I looking for on the floor? I was admiring my sandals

This is an outfit post, but I am also feeling the wig. Can you rock a polo and a pencil skirt? It is chic and comfy. Great outfit idea

FEATURED - HANDMAID IN AFRICA:ANKARA CRAFT

I like to celebrate people who inspire others; I like to celebrate Africa, I like to celebrate young entrepreneurs like myself. The last time I was at the 2013 July edition of the LPM, I met an interesting young woman who fascinated me with her works by breaking away from the norm and doing something different. It’s the CEO Hand Maid in Africa, let’s meet her. Nene Aderohunmu is a young woman who is into stationeries such as pencil cups, books, sticky pads, diary, and household decorative like wall frames, picture frames, and jewelry box all made with Ankara and hand crafted by her.
