THE 11TH HOUR! 12 IS A NUMBER

HAPPY NEW MONTH – THE 11TH HOUR! 12 IS A NUMBER
Happy New Month Fabulous ones. With the smell of harmattan in the air, dust on my window, lightened up streets, beautified homes, offices, churches and yes! The shopping spree. What more can I say? Xmas is in the air, Emmanuel- God is with us *happy*

Yes its December, the 12th month that ends the year. The number 12 is the number of perfection and completion, 12 is of great significance in the holy book and our everyday lives, 12 is wholesomeness. As the year 2013 is coming to an end with somedays to go, most people will look back to reminisce on what has been achieved, the goals that have been realized, broken resolutions, things that have made us laugh, things that have made us cried, our gains and losses,
Against all odds we are still hopeful and thankful for the gift of life.
To people who are expectant and believe in an 11th hour miracle before the year runs out, don’t worry, because God will bring perfection in all that concerns us, he will put smiles on faces, he will cause that business deal to click, that spouse will propose, he will put food on the table, he will provide shelter, he will bring peace, that visa lottery will come, job letter will come, he will heal the sick, he will make fruitful the barren in the 12th month of perfection in the 11th hour, God will rise up to that seemingly dead situation with the birth of his son Jesus Christ, don’t despair, don’t give up, it’s not over, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
December is a month of letting go that naughty habit, those troubles, worries, that relationship that isn’t working, that job that isn’t paying off, it’s a month to take the bold step and make Resolutions for the coming year. December is a month of thanksgiving and giving gifts, it’s the month of the birth of Jesus. Let’s celebrate him in peace and love, and as we say Amen to the prayers, here are TIPS to help us end the year in gratitude.
  • ·         Count your blessings
  • ·         Draw a budget
  • ·         Shop wise, (look out for discount items)
  • ·         Give gifts (it doesn’t have to be expensive, it can be handcrafted. It the intent of your heart that counts)
  • ·         Sing always( the bathroom is my favorite studio)
  • ·         Smile and put smiles on the faces of others
  • ·         Eat right and exercise, you can take a brisk walk

  • ·         Do a community work, like helping the needy, visiting old people’s home, helping children, visiting the prison, basically giving back to the society in the littlest of ways. A match stick can light up a candle.
  • ·         Above all, pray and give thanks to God.
