EVENT - LPM

Good day peeps, I ought to have done this post earlier, but am still basking in the excitement of the fun I had over the weekend and sampling all of the stuffs I got from the LPM *grinning*. Sure you’re wondering what this LPM is all about
Now cut to the chase, I will tell you. The LPM is an abbreviation of the French word ‘Le Petit Marche’ meaning ‘The Small Market’ in English language. It’s a monthly market which takes place in Lagos Nigeria on the last Sunday of every month; it was created by the duo of Isoken Ogiemwonyi and Wonuola Odunsi. It’s a fashion and lifestyle market founded in 2009, where vendors can rent a small space in the area where the LPM would take place and buyers would shop at a discounted rate.
The 2013 july edition took place on the 28 of july 2013, at the Imperial Place Victoria Island Lagos, and this month’s edition was tagged “discover accessories” I was there to get really good stuffs at discounted prices

FEATURED - HANDMAID IN AFRICA:ANKARA CRAFT

I like to celebrate people who inspire others; I like to celebrate Africa, I like to celebrate young entrepreneurs like myself. The last time I was at the 2013 July edition of the LPM, I met an interesting young woman who fascinated me with her works by breaking away from the norm and doing something different. It’s the CEO Hand Maid in Africa, let’s meet her. Nene Aderohunmu is a young woman who is into stationeries such as pencil cups, books, sticky pads, diary, and household decorative like wall frames, picture frames, and jewelry box all made with Ankara and hand crafted by her. ETHNIQUE:  How and when did you start?
